President Ruto Applauds M-Pesa Foundation Towards the renovation of the Kamagut Primary and construction of Junior and Senior Schools.
President William Ruto has laudes the M-Pesa Foundation for its generous support towards the renovation of the Kamagut Primary and construction of Junior and Senior Schools.
He said the redevelopment of the institution will present children with a superior environment to learn and perform better.
“We urge other corporates to step forward and supplement the Government’s efforts in such worthy causes, ” he noted
” It was nostalgic going back to my former primary school and meeting my nursery teachers as we laid the foundation stone for the construction of a modern school, ” he added.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii said Education forms the foundation upon which dreams take shape.
“I extend my gratitude to His Excellency President Dr. William Samoei Ruto William Samoei Ruto for his unwavering commitment to our country’s education system, marked by the laying of the foundation stone for Kamagut Primary School, ” he said .
“This modern facility, supported by the Safaricom Foundation, will boast a cutting-edge administration block and state-of-the-art classrooms, all meticulously designed to inspire learning and nurture the holistic growth of our pupils, ” he added.
The event was attended by our country’s First Lady, Her Excellency Mama Rachel Ruto, Cabinet Secretary for Education Honorable Ezekiel Machogu, Senator Jackson Mandago, Honorable Gladys Boss (Women Representative), MPs including Hon. Janet Sitienei (Turbo), Eng. John Barorot (My deputy), MCAs led by Honorable Philip Muigei (Speaker), and several other dignitaries.
