President Uhuru Kenyatta Should Resign-Keiyo South Mp
Keiyo South Member of Parliament DANIEL Rono now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to resign.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town Rono said president Uhuru Kenyatta has failed to deal with insecurity in the volatile Kerio Valley.
“I want to call upon president Uhuru Kenyatta to resign with immediate effect for failing to deal with insecurity in Kerio Valley.It is sad that he has decided to pay more attention to politics of succession where he is now grooming Raila Odinga to be the president instead of dealing with insecurity,” said the Keiyo South Member of parliament.
Rono is a staunch supporter of deputy president William Ruto who has declared his interest in the presidency in the forthcoming general elections.
But his bid has been rubbished by the dynasties led by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli who has termed him as corrupt and cannot be trusted with the Country’s leadership.
“You have ignored the security of this country, there is no reason for you to continue sitting in that seat
you should come out of the seat and concentrate in campaigning
for your project so that we can put you at the same level with others campaigning,” said the Keiyo South MP.
He says President Kenyatta should resign with immediate effect and concentrate on politics.
“President Kenyatta should come to our level so that we can campaign together, there is no day a project can win the presidency, the people at the grassroots are the ones who will decide who their president will be next president,” he added.
