Presidential aspirant on an independent Party ticket Reuben Kigame now wants Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairman Wafula Chebukati to resign.

This is after IEBC locked him out of the presidential race.

Speaking to the press in Eldoret town Kigame said Kigame has failed in his mandate of ensuring a free and fair electoral process by discriminating against other presidential candidates.

That discrimination was too much and we send Chebukati to the High Court my case will be ruled next week
“When I see Wafula Chebukati who is a lawyer the lawyer at the level of the supreme court judge, just literally abusing the law I just say to myself it’s not just state capture it’s really a problem of personality,” said Kigame while speaking to the press.

“I have a serious problem with Chebukati’s personality he is unfriendly hostile, and snobbish, he is everything except a returning officer and for a chair of IEBC Wafula Chebukati is the wrong person,” he added.

He says after Chebukati left him out of the nomination process he did not include him among the four that were selected to run for the presidency and when he published the list of those who were not qualified he did not include his name.

He noted that IEBC Just imposed on the four presidential candidates who did not go through the right process that IEBC had already decided what they wanted.

“The same standards that were required for us were not required for everybody to this among the four there are people who we don’t know whether they have a degree or not, their people whose nationality is questionable and is being investigated for dual citizenship,” he said.

He says he will be on the ballot in the August polls.

“My case is already in the High Court and it will be ruled next week I believe that justice will be served and I am hoping that anybody who wants to run can be given fairness and I hope I will be on the ballot,” he said.

“All I want is to be on the ballot so that Kenyans can choose, I rather lose because Kenyan did not choose me than to be blocked by a commission that should be making my nomination smooth process.

He wants IEBC to be disbanded
since they cannot continue to eat a fruit that has a maggot inside.

“If the process is wrong it’s better to disband or postpone now than to nullify elections, unless things change we will end up with a nullification again. The process of any election is just as important as the election itself,” he said.

He says if elected he will offer dignity and do away with the culture of Matharau, extrajudicial killings, deal with food prices, deal with health ensure accessible health, access to education for health and declare practical war on corruption, secure Kenyans from further borrowing, do away negative ethnicity.
