Meet Kasmara Mukami, Director of Tea Scape Africa, a tea trading company. She founded the company in 2020 with the goal of exploring the bulk export market, sourcing tea products from various tea factories.
Tea Scape Africa offers a range of products including the Malkia Brand, Jamil, and Swahili tea. Currently, the company employs three people. Kasmara markets her products through trade missions, exhibitions, social media, and a dedicated website.
Her inspiration lies in supplying quality tea products to the local market while providing direct support to farmers. She achieves this by paying premium prices to the farmers, the majority of whom are women.
