PS TVET Confident that CBET WIll Expand Employability

State Department of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Principal Secretary Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria has expressed confidence that CBET’s approach to training in Kenya will expand the employability of the youths at the same time increasing their employability competitiveness globally.

Dr. Muoria who spoke when she toured CDACC’S marking centre at Naivasha for the July/August2023 Competency Based Assessment said that the implimentation of CBET will equip trainees with the much needed industry skills and this will make them more competitive in the global market.

A total of 7,368 candidates drawn from 91 accredited institutions across the country were examined in the July/August2023 CBET Assessment.

The marking of the July/August2023 CBET Assessment which commenced on August 28 at Naivasha came to an end on September 7.

CDACC’s Ag. CEO Mr. Joseph Njau who demonstrated confidence in the exercise, said that the secretariat is currently conducting assessment of the previous assessments adding that all the results will be released by the end of October.
