RAILA STARTS LONG DAY TOUR OF TESO REGION
Azimio La Umoja Presidential flagbearer, the Rt Hon Raila Odinga has began his long-day tour of Teso Region which is perceived to be his stronghold.
The ODM leader Raila Odinga is in Teso North as he seeks to lock the vote rich region that has overwhelmingly voted for him in past elections.
The chopper carrying the ODM party leader landed at KMTC Teso Campus in Kocholia at 12.50pm where he was received by
Busia Governor, H.E Sospeter Ojaamong. He later laid a foundation stone for the
students hostel before addrressig ecstatic residents and college students.
The enourage is heading to Changara Market for a meet-the-people tour. He will make a stop-over in Angurai Market before heading to Achunet Stadium Malaba for Azimio Rally.
Those accompanying Raila includes, Busia Deputy Governor, H.E Moses Mulomi, ODM Deputy Party Leader, Wycliffe Oparanya, Governor James Ongwae (Kisii), MPs Oku Kaunya (Teso North),Geoffrey Omuse (Teso South), Raphael Wanjala (Budalangi), ODM Busia Executive Secretary and Innocent Oluku and Azimio aspirants among others.
Today’s tour is the beginning of Raila’s four-day campaigns of the Western Kenya region with his entourage heading to Kakamega County starting tomorrow (Saturday).
