Ruweida Nice Thoughts For The Army

Our Army and by large all the Defence forces are set to receive preferential treatment when boarding aeroplanes if Parliament endorses a proposal by Lamu East MP, Captain Obo Ruweida Mohamed.

Hon. Captain Ruweida is a pilot by profession.

In her motion, Ruweida seeks to Upscale the Service Which Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officers receive in our airports.

The motion is mandating local airlines to give priority to KDF officers over the general members of the public when boarding local aircraft.

“The House urges that the National Government, through the Ministry of Roads and Transport, encourages local airlines to establish a priority boarding protocol for the Kenya Defence and Kenya Special Forces personnel which grants them the privilege to board local aircraft before the general public,” Ruweida said.
