Sakaja Appeals For Quick Resolution To Azimio, Kenya Kwanza Standoff

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has called for the Azimio Kenya Kwanza standoff to be resolved as soon as possible.

Sakaja was speaking at the PCEA Umoja church, where he had attended service alongside COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli.

“We want want peace in Nairobi, we are one big family… ona vile Nairobi tuko, tuko na MCAs wa Kenya Kwanza, MCAs wa Azimio, and we are working together,” Sakaja told the congregants.

“I’m sure even at the national level, everyone wants us to work together, everyone wants peace,”
The Nairobi County boss went on to assure the city residents of their safety should the anti-government protests continue.

“We will make sure you are protected, your lives, your property will be protected”, Sakaja added.
