Soy MP Caleb Kositany Condemns Raila Odingas attacks During Jackson Kibor’s Burial
Soy member of parliament Caleb Kositany has condemned violence leveled against the opposition leader Raila Odinga during the burial ceremony of Jackson Kibor.
Through his facebook page he said the incident is unfortunate and should be condemned with the strongest terms possible.
“I condemn the act of cowardice by some rowdy youths who pelted Raila’s chopper.Earlier in the event the same youths booed and heckled leaders while they gave their speeches and condolences to late Mzee Kibor,” she said.
He says he is a peaceful man and cannot advocate for hooliganism.
“I have always warned against political intolerance and misuse of our youths by political leaders, yesterday at the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial debate held at Rupa mall Eldoret,I called upon all aspirants to shun from act’s of violence,”he said.
Two days ago there was a kidnapping incident involving a blogger in Uasin Gishu then yesterday my driver was assaulted by rowdy youths in Eldoret town.
He called upon the security personnel to arrest all those involved.
“I call upon the security agencies to take up these matters and bring to book those culprits.Kenya belongs to all of us and the constitution in the bill of rights allows us to associate freely anywhere in this country,”
