Stakeholders in the Education Sector have welcomed His Excellency President Dr. William Ruto’s announcement effecting Sh24 Billion Investment for Junior Secondary School (JSS) Infrastructure Upgrade.

President Ruto stated that the government will invest Sh24 billion to upgrade junior secondary school (JSS) infrastructure.

The president stated during the 60th anniversary of Jamhuri Day at Uhuru Garden in Nairobi that the funds will be used to build classrooms and infrastructure for JSSs.

On the same vein, The Founder and Managing Director of MGA Schools in Nairobi County Madam Rose Maina opined:

“Its a good thing the government is thinking about our children in Jss. Schs have for more than a year been left to find their own way without the resources. In tge same breath the Government needs to see how to support the private sector to ease its own burden in offering quality education by giving a tax incentive to private schools that are registered.

The government also needs to engage the staff in proper Jss training so that they can handle the children who are now experiencing their teen years in primary schools.”

“MGA Schools is the fastest growing private school in Nairobi County with branches in Kasarani, Mwiki, Membley and Kamulu. This is definitely where Excellence begins. MGA Schools commitment to quality education sets a glow.
