Thieves Steal Goods Worth KSh 600k after Breaking into Supermarket at Night; See What Happened to Them
The owner of a supermarket in Kangemi, Nairobi county was left in shock after he found his supermarket empty after thieves broke into his store and left with goods worth KSh 600,000. Muteti, who had worked hard to build his supermarket from a small retailer to the huge supermarket it had become could not control his tears after he found that it had been robbed.
The CCTV cameras of the supermarket showed that three thieves led by one of his employees had broken into the supermarket at 1am and cleared all the shelves of all the goods that were packed there. He immediately called the police and told them about what happened.
The police promised that they would speed up their investigations and ensure that the thieves had been brought to book. However, the following day, the police had not made any meaningful progress in their efforts to track down the thieves as they had many other cases to settle.
Out of the frustrations that Muteti was going through, he posted in a Facebook group about how he was already feeling depressed as his entire business had been wiped clean. This is when one person on Facebook gave him advice and what he needed to do.

True to Kazimoto’s words, the following day, he found thieves outside his supermarket eating grass while weeping and confessing to have stolen from him. They also returned all the goods that they stole to Muteti who handed them to the police.
