Trans Nzoia County Teams Score Big at KYISA Games Opener!
Trans Nzoia county men’s football and volleyball teams got off to a flying start in their respective matches in the ongoing KYISA Games in Tharaka Nithi County, the volleyball team defeated Migori county 3 sets-1 while the football team held Kakamega County to a 1-1 draw, and later clinched a 3-2 win against Makueni County in their second match.
As the games progress, the Trans Nzoia volleyball team is gearing up to face off against Kakamega County, while the football team is scheduled to take on Tharaka Nithi and Narok Counties in their upcoming matches.
Chanelle Kitony, the CEC for sports who cheered on the Trans Nzoia teams, emphasized the significance of teamwork and discipline in achieving their goals. “I urge the teams to work together and maintain discipline in the field,” she said. “I wish both teams the best of luck in their upcoming matches.”
