Trans Nzoia County’s Volleyball and Football Teams Ready to Conquer in Kenya Youth Inter-County Sports Association Games

The Trans Nzoia County men’s volleyball and football teams received a ceremonial send-off at the Social Hall, with Jane Khaendi, the liaison officer for Saboti, leading the flagging off. These teams are set to represent the county in the upcoming Kenya Youth Inter-County Sports Association (KYISA) Games, scheduled to take place from April 23 to 30 in Tharaka Nithi County.

According to Mrs. Gladys Agala, the Director for Sports, the players were urged to maintain discipline and work as a team during the games. Additionally, plans have been put in place to enhance the quality of sports facilities in the county, with the aim of elevating the standards of sports in the area. Mrs. Agala said, “We have rolled out plans that are geared towards improving the standards of sports facilities, a move that will help upscale the standards of sports in the county.”
