Transnzoia Governor George Natembeya Hosts Delegation from University of Eldoret

Today, Governor George Natembeya had the honor of hosting a delegation led by Prof. Philip Raburu, Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Planning, Research, and Extension from the University of Eldoret (U.O.E). This significant visit culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the university and the governor’s administration, marking a pivotal moment for health education in the region.

During their discussions, both parties engaged in constructive dialogue that highlighted the potential for collaboration in the field of health education. Governor Natembeya expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing that Transnzoia’s health facilities will be transformed into centers of excellence for training and mentoring students in health-based courses.

“This is just the beginning of great things to come,” Natembeya stated. “By working together with U.O.E, we aim to enhance the quality of healthcare education and ultimately improve health outcomes for our community.”
