UDA Party Should Conduct Free and Fair Nominations- Jonathan Bii Alias Koti Moja
Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Jonathan Bii alias Koti Moja now wants UDA party to conduct free and fair nominations.
Speaking to the press in Munyaka during Kapsoya and Kimumu ward declaration on their support for his gubernatorial bid Bii said it’s sad that gubernatorial aspirants are walking around saying they already have the ticket.
During the function, supporters from different gubernatorial aspirants decamped from their camps and pledged their support for Bii alias Koti Moja.
“I want to call upon our UDA party to ensure that they conduct a free and fair nomination, let the will of the people prevail. It’s sad that one gubernatorial is not campaigning but claims to have the ticket, we will not tolerate such nonsense let the will of the people be respected,” said the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant.
“This time around I will not allow someone to take my victory after campaigning, is they steal my victory they could have offended the people of Uasin Gishu and they will never forgive them,” he added
He said if elected he will ensure that cases of water shortage in Kimumu and Kapsoya Ward will be a thing of the past.
“I know that the women from the two wards are suffering due to lack of water I will ensure that we have enough water and women will no longer walk for long distances in search of water,” he said.
“I will also put security lights in Kimumu and Kapsoya wards to ensure there is security so that our people can work harmoniously without any problem which will help to enhance 24 hours economy,” said Bii
He says he will ensure that there is youth employment through the creation of job opportunities for them.
“I will ensure that we have polytechnic that will help youth learn technical skills that will help them earn a living, I will look for investors to open factories where youths will be employed. My government will solve issues of youths unemployment once and for all,” he said.
Since Uasin Gishu is a cosmopolitan County Bill said all tribes will be represented in his administration.
“If elected my government will be all-inclusive where I will ensure that employment opportunities will be shared with all tribes in the County which will also include people living with disability, women, and youths,” he said.
Bii noted that there will be violence in the forthcoming elections regardless if the deputy president William Ruto will be elected or not
“We want to show the world that we will vote peacefully and during elections and we will be the most peaceful county
those thinking that there will be violence they are prophets of doom,” he said.
Bii says this will ensure more needy and bright students access quality education.
“Once elected as governor I will increase the money allocated for a bursary from the current 120 million shillings which was set by the outgoing governor Jackson Mandago to 300 million shillings so that needy and bright students access education, ” said Koti Moja while speaking to the press in Huruma grounds during a mammoth rally.
He says he will allocate an additional 100 million in terms of scholarship.
Bii says that his administration will construct modern markets to provide a conducive business environment for hawkers.
He says he will ensure that all health facilities are equipped.
“Health is key will ensure that I equip them with modern facilities which will help in the diagnosis of diseases instead f referring them to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.
