Kapseret Member of parliament Oscar Sudi has urged the retired president to respect President William Ruto.
He says Kenyatta should accept the fact that his project Raila Odinga lost in the August polls.
“We won the election while at the bush when you had the government, so stop despising president Ruto and go for retirement like other previous presidents,” said the Kapseret legislator.
Sudi further called upon church leaders to come out and tell the opposition leader Raila Odinga the truth and not advocate for a handshake government.
“It is your responsibly as church leaders to tell the religious leaders the truth by not forcing a ‘Nusu Mkate’ government between president Ruto and the opposition leader Raila Odinga. We won the elections and we won’t accept anything like a handshake government,” said the Kapseret Member of parliament.
Sudi said thye are ready to deal with Azimio la Umoja demonstrators and that they are not afraid of anything and nothing will prevent them from dealing with those holding demonstrations.
“let’s meet on Monday during your demonstrations and we will show you what needs to be done. You cant keep on threatening people about death, if in anyway you die the universe will keep on rotating nothing will stop it, this country has more than 50 million people, so let us respect each other,” he said.
The president allied with MP also called on protestors to stop participating in demonstrations and get something else to do.
“If you have nothing to do in Nairobi go back to where you came from and do farming because no one will be doing it for you. The prices of foodstuffs will only go down if all of us go to our farms instead of demonstrating, “added sudi.
