Julius Ruto Wins the Kesses Parliamentary Seat
Julius Rutto has won the Kesses parliamentary seat.
According to Mathew Senger the Kesses Returning Officer Julius Rutto garnered 32838 while Dr Swarup Mishra -2140
Ruto was battling with the incumbent Dr Swarup Mishra.
CPA Julius Ruto has won the Kesses parliamentary seat on a UDA party ticket.
He defeated the incumbent Dr Swarup Mishra who was vying on an independent party ticket.
Speaking to the press Mathew Kipchenger Kesses Returning officer said everthing went on as planned.
“Julius Rutto garnered 32,838 while his close competitor Dr Swarup Mishra -21,404. Exercise went well as planned and there was no cause of alarm, we want to wish him well in his endeavors
Speaking after he was announced the winner Ruto thanked Kesses resident for believing in his leadership.
” Thank you the Almighty God for making this happen, I couldn’t have done it alone without you, To my family, thank you for your support and understanding throughout the campaign period. The late nights I came back home and the early morning’s I woke up in search of votes, you truly understood.,” said the Kesses MP elect.
Ruto said he will be working for all the Kesses residents whether they voted for him or not.
“What we witnessed during the campaigns was just competition let’s sit down and see how we can make Kesses better Mishra supporters you have lost nothing we welcome you to the winning team,” he said.
“To you the residents of Kesses constituency, I lack words to express how grateful I am for your love, support and that believe you’ve bestowed on me and my leadership ability, a better Kesses is all we want, I’m giving you my word I will strive to the best of my ability to see this happening. Thank you,” he added.
He said he will work with his competitor for the better of Kesses.
“To my competitor, this was a friendly match but the peoples will took the day,We remain friends and residents of Kesses constituency. From a clean heart, I extend an invitation to you, to join me in sharing ideas that will stare development and make Kesses constituency, a constituency to benchmark by the rest of the lawmakers,” he added.
