When and Where Former Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut Will be Buried

Former Ainabkoi member of parliament William Chepkut will be buried on Tuesday 18th October 2022.

Speaking to the press Enock Chepkut the brother to the deceased said the requiem mass in Nairobi will be held on Friday 14th October this week at AIC Milimani.

“As the burial committee we have come to a conclusion that my brother Hon William Chepkut will be buried on Tuesday 18th at Kapsundei Primary school and later at his home,” said the deceased brother.

Chepkut died on Saturday morning at Mediheal Hospital in Parklands.

The former MP served the constituency between 2017 to 2022. He was elected as an independent candidate.

He said the body of the deceased will arrive in Eldoret on Monday 17th October 10 am for a community farewell service before the main funeral service on Tuesday.

” A major Harambee to assist in the burial will be held on Thursday this week in AIC Milimani Nairobi, Saturday at Eldoret Wagon Wheel Hotel, and on Sunday at home, Kapsundei,” he added.

Chepkut served as the personal assistant of the late Nicholas Biwott, who was a powerful minister during the late President Daniel Moi’s tenure and later ventured into politics.

He served one term as Ainabkoi Member of Parliament.
He reiterated that post morterm on the body of the deceased will be done on Tuesday this week to determine the cause of his death.

Kesses member of parliament CPA Julius Ruto who visited the family of the deceased termed Chepkut as a God-fearing and down-to-earth individual.

“On behalf of the people of Kesses and my family at large I want to send a message of condolences to the family and friends of the deceased may God give you strength during this hard time of mourning,” he said.
