WHY DO YOU HATE MONDAYS?
Sometimes back on a Thursday afternoon I turned to my employee and asked him, “What day is tomorrow?”
I was expecting the next day could be Tuesday or Wednesday but I was told, “Tomorrow is Friday”
Surprised, I asked “Why do these days move so fast?”
Few hours after our conversation, a man entered and said, “Thank God tomorrow is Friday” (he looked relieved)
I looked at him and wondered, “Why are people happy about Friday when I am sad?”
The answer is very simple.
I hate Friday because it signals the end of active work. Though I work sometimes on the weekend, it’s not like during the week.
But why do other people hate Mondays and why do I love Mondays?
Most people hate Mondays because it signals the beginning of LABOUR for them.
This is because most people simply hate their jobs.
Am I saying that I love every part of my business?
No. Not at all.
But there’s a way around it.
As an entrepreneur, I simply employ other people to do what I hate doing.
I have spent years mastering this act.
Most entrepreneurs don’t have “work”
We only do what we love doing (and employ others to do what we hate doing).
My wife sometimes complains that I work too much, but I usually tell her, “I’m NOT working. I’m simply playing”
But why am I writing this?
I am writing this to encourage you.
You see, If you hate your job, you are only a little better than a slave.
Life as a successful entrepreneur is “Heaven on Earth”
You create businesses, employ people, make good money, enjoy yourself.
And let me warn you; The road to be a successful entrepreneur is rough.
Only the strong fight through.
It’s my hope that you will be one of them.
