We’ve reviewed the main challenges facing our region and we have felt that women’s voice is not coming to the table of discussion. This is the first time we are coming as women in leadership from the region to put our heads together to consider the issues affecting us, particularly of interest are the insecurity down in the valley, matters of gender-based violence, and women in leadership.” Said Dr. Yulita Cheruiyot Deputy Governor Nandi County.
