Women Leaders Raises Concern Over Cases of femicide
Women leaders drawn from the larger Roysambu area have come out to express concern over rising cases of Femicide in the country.
Led by the Hon. Dr. Faith Mwaura, a reputable leader from the area, they decried that Roysambu has become a haven for the killers.
The killers have always been on the prowl aiming to lure young ana naive girls especially the ones in campus. Roysambu houses USIU, PAC University as well as Kenyatta University.
“Statistically at least 504 women have been documented to have been murdered in cold blood. These are one too many and we shan’t sit down. If nothing is done to curtail this we shall strip and walk along Kamiti Road to express our concerns,” Hon Faith noted.
She at the same time challenged the security apparatus to be more swift in addressing such cases promptly.
Hon..Dr. Faith has also hatched a very ambitious program of mentorship for secondary school and college students so that they can avoid cheap money from aliens
