Ziwa Technical Training Institute: A Beacon of Opportunity and Potential

Ziwa Technical Training Institute is among the best public technical institutes in Uasin Gishu County.

According to Joseph Mibei, the Chief Principal, the institute is one of the best places where the students can pursue their career courses.
“We have various courses that are offered from hospitality, engineering electrical, building, civil engineering, automotive engineering, CT Technology, Library, and all the business and agriculture courses among others. Our courses are tailored towards the current job market,” the principal said.

He said the school which is now independent from the Eldoret National Polytechnic will soon have its first-ever graduation ceremony.

“We also thank the government for the initiative of looking for ways and means of reducing unemployment among youths through the Jitume Labs where they can create jobs online. The Labs are almost ready and soon they will be officially launched,” the principal said.

He said the Jitume Lab will not only serve students but the community at large.

“I want to call upon residents to come out in large numbers and use the facility for their online jobs and technology is the way to go,” he said.
The principal further revealed that the institution will soon give farmers coffee seedlings.
