Youths Urged to be Ambassadors of Peace
The NCCK Northrift Treasurer Bishop Josphat Kimani has warned youths against being used by politicians to cause violence in the fourthcoming elections .
Speaking to the press Kimani youths are the leaders of tomorrow and should not allow themselves to destroy their future
“Youths should not allow themselves to be used by self centered politicians to cause violence during this time of elections and as youths they should maintain peace during this period of elections.We don’t have spare Kenya once destroyed that will be the end of it”,said Kimani.
He noted thta Kenyans should maintain peace as the country heads to the August polls.
“We are calling upon politicians no matter the side one is supporting to maintain peace during campaign, election period and after the elections and they should tolerate one another whether from Azimio or Kenya kwanza “,said Kimani.
He also encourage christians to pray for our country for peace as we are heading to general elections.
“I want to call upon christians to pray for peace in our country and live in harmony as we are heading the general elections your neighbour will be your neighbour even after the general elections therefor let’s not divide our country just because of politics”,he said.
