Deputy president William Ruto has cancelled all his political meetings across the county.
This is due to the upsurge of coronavirus which has continued to infect and claim many Kenyan lives.
Through his official twitter account Ruto wrote “The Covid 19 situation in the country has escalated as stated by GoK this afternoon. My scheduled public engagements are hereby postponed until further notice. We all should take individual responsibility and adhere to guidelines issued so as to control this ravaging pandemic,” said the deputy president.
