MANDAGO HAILS THE CHURCH FOR HELPING THE ALCOHOLIC, BROKEN FAMILIES

Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago onĀ  joined the congregation of United Pentecostal Evangelistic Crusade (UPEC) for a church service at Legebet primary school.

Thereafter, there was a thanksgiving ceremony of Bishop Philip Rono who was re-elected as the Bishop of the Church.

Mandago, speaking during the service, thanked Bishop Rono who is also the Director of Haven recovery and the church for the role they have played in the society.

Aside from preaching, they have also been involved in rehabilitating the alcoholic.

“This program has changed the society. Many broken families have been restored and many have changed their lives after going through the rehabilitation which Bishop has done and the UPEC church,” Mandago noted.

“We want to thank you for changing the life of many. You have changed and transformed many lives in the society,” he added.

“The work you are doing in the church is tremendous. Touching the lives of many people,” the Governor insisted.

Mandago also called on every Kenyan to take the responsibility of ensuring peace especially as the country heads to the electioneering period.

“A peaceful country is a prosperous country and this will spur development,” he said.

Governor Mandago later in the evening presided over a fundsdrive at ACK Holy Trinity Church Manyatta Moiben.

County Executive Member for Agriculture Samuel Yego and Chief officer for Health Dr. Joseph Morogo accompanied the Governor.
