UG COUNTY TO ANNOUNCE NEW COVID PROTOCOLS
The County Government of Uasin Gishu will soon announce the new covid 19 protocols as away to contain the spread of corona virus.
Kenya’s positivity rate is currently staggering between 12 and 17 percent with number of deaths lately rising as compared to the first months of the year.
Speaking in Turbo Sub-County on Saturday, Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, EGH, said his government will in the few days review covid 19 preventive measures.
The Governor said the measures will be strict and stringent. He hints that funerals, for example, will have a limited number of speakers so as to make programs as short as possible.
He called on the public to keep observing preventive guidelines for covid 19 pandemic.
