DOCUMENTS CRUCIAL FOR OUR YOUTHS : MANDAGO
Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, has called on the government to take registration of persons exercise deeper to the grass roots.
The Governor says, the Ministry of Interior and Coordination need to reach for more youths who are yet to get National Identity Cards.
“When we take registrations to the grassroots we shall be able to get youths who finished schools but have not yet acquired identity cards.” said Mandago
Speaking in Soy Sub-County, Mandago regretted that a number of youths were not ready to take up life changing opportunities like jobs, because they miss crucial documents.
“Our youths should be ready with Identity Cards and travel documents because we need to diversify and look for employment opportunities in and out of the country.”
The Governor also called on parents to ensure their Children acquire requisite documents that places them well for opportunities. This are IDs, Passports and Driver’s license.
