Senator Margaret Kamar Speaks on the Position She Will be Vying For Come 2022

Uasin Gishu Senator Prof. Margaret Kamar has spoken on the seat he will be vying for come 2022.

Speaking to the press in Eldoret town after giving football Kamar said she will announce her bid in December.

” i will be making public the position that I will be vying for come 2022,I am going to discuss with the electorates and come december i will make it public the seat that i will be vying for, I am still consulting on the same,” said Prof. Kamar.

Kamar who was elected on a jubilee party ticket is serving her first term in office as Uasin Gishu senator.

She has left many guessing the position she will be vying for since there have been rumors that she will be going for the gubernatorial seat which is currently being held by governor Jackson Mandago who is serving his second and last term in office.

Mandago has declared his interest for the senatorial seat in the forthcoming elections.

Kamar says she wants to take time so that she may make the right decision on the 2022 general elections.

“I would like to take time on this matter and by december I will do an official announcement where I will call all media houses for residents to know what I will be vying for,” the Senate deputy speaker said.

She further called on Kenyans especially youths to register as voters saying its the only way that they will participate in the forthcoming general elections.
