Muslim Cleric Calls on Ukraine and Russia to Stop Their Wars
North Rift Council of Imams and Muslim Preachers of Kenya chairman Sheikh Abubakar Bini now wants Ukraine and Russia to stop their wars.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town Bini said if the war will continue it will badly affect Kenya’s economy.
“As religious leaders from the North Rift region we want to condemn the war between Ukraine and Russia, this is uncalled for and we want it stopped with immediate effect,” said the North Rift Council of Imams and Muslim Preachers of Kenya chairman.
He said if the war will not be stopped the Country’s economy will be largely affected.
“The high cost of living will be very high if the war between the two countries continues because their many things we get from Ukraine and Russia and with the war it will be hard for them t be transported,” said into the country
He called on the two countries to sit down and solve their issues amicably instead of resolving to war.
‘I am calling upon the two countries to sit down and solve their problems amicably since there is nothing hard if the dialogue is introduced. I am also calling upon the superpower countries to intervene and stop this war once and for all since innocent lives are being lost for no reason,” he said.
The North Rift Council of Imams and Muslim Preachers of Kenya’s chairman called on religious leaders to pray for the two countries.
“We are calling upon all religious leaders from all divides to kneel down and pray for the two countries since if this will not stop we will be affected in one way or another,” he advised.
