Outgoing Rongai member of parliament Raymond Moi now says competing with deputy president William Ruto is the hardest thing.

On his official Facebook Page, he posted “The hardest thing to do is to compete with William Samoei Ruto, the man is just ahead of all of us. He knows what will happen on Monday, he had been briefed on the verdict and he’s already planning his cabinet. Raila is waiting for Supreme Court to shock him, hehe! Anyway, congratulations Dr. William Ruto. Serve your people,”

Raymond who is the son of the deceased president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi was defeated by Paul Chebor of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in Monday’s by-election.

His brother Gideon Moi who was vying for the Baringo Senatorial seat was also defeated.

Chebor garnered 27,021 against Mo’s 14,715.
