Governor Benjamin Cheboi Launches Kapkirwok Community Water System
Baringo governor Benjamin Cheboi on Wednesday launched Kapkirwok Community Water System.
Cheboi says a capacity of 200M3 with an immense potential to provide water for domestic use to more than 10,000 people drawn from 1000hoseholds.
“The project is jointly funded by SNV WASH the Netherlands Development Cooperation and Water Trust fund. SNV is greatly helping our communities to mitigate drought emergencies through implementation of climate proofed infrastructure for improved water and sanitation in arid and semi arid land areas Programme,” he said .
Due to the partners continuous cooperation and support we ratified and signed a Memorandum of Understanding that guides our undertakings,” he added.
