Wangoi from a family of four was the sole breadwinner for the family and thye don’t know what to do now.

Florence Wairimu said she received the sad information from her daughter’s friend who also works in Cairo.

“It is sad that I received information from her friend that my daughter is dead. We have not heard any communication from the government regarding the death and only suspect that she might be killed by her employer,” she added.

The family is now seeking help to bring her body home for burial while calling on the government to investigate the matter.

“We are now calling on the government to help us bring back our daughter at home
since as we are talking we have nothing at our disposal. We are poor and we cannot afford to bring the body of our daughter home,” he added.

The family says they have reported the matter at Kitale police station and since then nothing has been done.

This comes after several families in the Country decried the death of their kins in the Gulf and their bodies are yet to be brought to the country.
