Governor Bii Graces the Farouk Kibet Tournament
Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii graced the commencement of the Kibet Farouk Tournament and launched the Youth Athletics Camp in Chepkemel, Ng’enyilel ward.
Bii said sports unifies across cultural boundaries and offers investment opportunities for all.
“This is part of our commitment to nurturing talent and addressing social issues like drug abuse,” he said.
In attendance were the area MP, Hon. Janet Rotich, Members of the County Assembly led by Hon. Benjamin Natui, as well as representatives from Athletics Kenya and CECM, including Eng. Lucy Njoroge (Sports) and Anthony Sitienei (Lands) among other officials.
