Eldoret: Students of Finland and Canada scholarship Condemn Leaders for Being Silent

Parents and victims of the Finland and Canada scholarship fiasco in Uasin Gishu County have blamed local leadership for giving a deaf.

They said despite rising the matter local leader whom they elected have ignored them.

Speaking after presenting their grievances to the EACC North Rift region Director Charles Rasugu, Mercy Jebet said they have asked for their money refund for more than six but all went into Vain

“We don’t want stories anymore we have waited for long and the leaders are still silent “, said Jebet.

The parents demanded the EACC boss take action against the county leaders who are accountable for the loss of money.

“We want to see the leaders of the County being summoned because they took our money after we sold our belongings for our children’s future and we lost everything “, said Kimutai Kirui Eldoret based Human Rights activist.
