Meru Women Leaders Support Governor Kawira’s Impeachment
Meru women leaders have said they support impeachment of governor Kawira Mwangaza and are calling upon the Senate to make a fair judgement
Led by Meru county women representative Karambu Kailemia, the leaders said the governor has been impeached for her incompetence, corruption, nepotism, firing people with no reason, and they said no one is fighting gender leadership.
“As Meru leaders we want to state here categorically that we support governor Kawira’s Impeachment and we urge the Senate to do us justice by approving her remains,” she says.
This comes days after the Meru County Assembly passed an impeachmebt motion terming the Meru governor as incompetent.
