Institutions Urges to Invest in Research – PS Muoria

The Education Cabinet Secretary Hon Ezekiel Machogu while being represented at the Nyeri National Polytechnic second International Research Conference, the CS lauded the institution for setting the pace for TVET institutions in research conference and skills competition.

The CS who was represented by PS SD-TVET Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, urged TVET institutions to continue investing in research and innovations as they set the base for a bright future for the youths and Kenya at large.

The Nyeri National Polytechnic second International Research Conference brought together 21 institutions who were exhibiting at the event and had an entry of 19 skill areas of competition.

The CS at the same time congratulated TVET Principals for embracing CBET adding that all the September intake was under CBET.

Hon. Machogu re-emphasized the need to ensure that TVET trainees are fully skilled saying that this will make the trainees to transition easily to the job market
