Juakali Business Inclusivity Craft Workers Association Conduct Consultative Meeting

Embu MSEA office, in collaboration with the Embu County Government, National Housing Corporation, and representatives from the project contractor, conducted a productive consultative meeting with the Juakali Business Inclusivity Craft Workers Association.

These artisans, specializing in housing-related services and have registered with MSEA to tap into AHP opportunities, among other benefits.

The discussion focused on operational procedures once they secure jobs for windows and doors fabrication, county representation within the Association, and inclusion of youth, women, and PWD representation.

A technical committee, comprising members from the County Government, MSEA, the Juakali associations, the Contractor, and NHC, was appointed to compile a report on the discussed areas.

The meeting was a result of relentless efforts by the MSEA Embu office to ensure that MSEs derive maximum benefits from the project, supported by the directive from the Governor, H.E. Hon. Cecily Mbarire.

CEC Trade Hon. Jamal Runyenje, representing CEC Lands Hon. Rymond, CO Housing Mr. Mutisya, NHC Works Officer Mr. Kibochi, Contractor representatives, Mr. Munoru Edward (MSEA regional head Embu/Tharaka Nithi), and Association leadership led by Chairman Mr. Josiah, were present at the meeting.
