NCCK North Rift Region to Start Mentorship Center in Eldoret
NCCK North Rift region is coming up with a youth mentorship Center in Eldoret
According to the youth representative of NCCK Uasin Gishu branch Rev Silas Rutoh, the center will focus on spiritual, social, educational, and economic empowerment is comprehensive, and will address the diverse needs of young people.
“By providing access to information, services, and professional guidance, the center will empower young people to make positive choices and contribute to their communities,” he said.
Rev Rutoh said the youth are going to be mapped from the grassroots to benefit from the Spiritual, social, educational, and economic empowerment
“It will also provide young people with meaningful engagement during their time off. This will help to prevent them from engaging in risky or unproductive activities and keep them on a positive trajectory,” he added.
He said all youth’s needs will be catered for at the center.
“The programs will be facilitated by professionals hence youths will get the right teachings funded by NCCK North Rift region,” he noted.
The center and programs are produced by NCCK during the time most of the young people are home from school for their holiday.
