Health Cabinet Secretary Nakhumicha has announced plans to expand the reach of health initiatives to additional Trans Nzoia Sub-Counties. The first project will be launched in Kwanza constituency in December next year and will combine free medical camps with football tournaments.

This initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services directly to residents’ doorsteps, making it easier for them to access care. It also prioritizes community well-being and serves as a proactive measure against both communicable and non-communicable diseases.

The free medical camps will offer a range of services, including checkups, screenings, and treatment for common illnesses. The football tournaments will be a way to raise awareness about health issues and encourage healthy lifestyles.

Nakhumicha said that the initiative is part of the government’s commitment to improving access to healthcare for all Kenyans. He urged residents of Kwanza constituency to take advantage of the free medical camps and football tournaments.

“This is a great opportunity for residents of Kwanza constituency to access essential healthcare services,” said Nakhumicha. “We are committed to providing quality healthcare to all Kenyans, and this initiative is just one way we are working to achieve that goal.”
