Busia Flag Bearers Hoha FC Face FKL Side Ulimzi in Mozart Bet Cup Round of 32

Busia flag bearers Harvest of Hope Aftica (HOHA) FC will take on Football Kenya Federation side Ulinzi Stars in Mozzart Bet Cup round of 32, at Mumias Sports Complex on Sunday.

The match would have been played in Busia, but the lack of a modern stadium has forced the organisers to move the match to Mumias with HOHA as the home team.

HOHA from Matayos Constituency is currently ranked second in FKF Division II league Zone A with 17 points, six points behind leaders Soy United.

Head coach Nicholas Okulaba said they are ready to face the Premier League side, noting that he has a good side exuding confidence that they can cause a major upset. Among dependable players include Josky Onyango, Edwin Karani, and Charles Okwi.

Football Kenya Federation Busia Branch chairman Hillary Musundi has wished HOHA FC the best of luck as they face Ulinzi, which drew 0-0 with defending league champions Gor Mahia last week, urging fans to turn up in large numbers to cheer Busia flag bearers.

Thirty-eight clubs have expressed interest in participating in the knockout competition; they include 14 FKF Premier League clubs, 6 FKF National Super League clubs, 4 FKF Division One clubs, and 14 Division II and regional clubs.

The winners of the Mozzart Bet Cup will represent Kenya in the CAF Confederations Cup and Ksh2million cash award.
