Deputy President Attends Thanksgiving Service at Mutonyora Comprehensive School

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua graced the Thanksgiving Service at Mutonyora Comprehensive School in Kinangop constituency, Nyandarua County. The occasion celebrated the school’s remarkable academic achievements, where it stands out as the only Public Primary School in Nyandarua County with a Mean Score surpassing 300 marks.

With over 1700 pupils, Mutonyora Comprehensive School is not only known for its academic excellence but also for being one of the most populous institutions of learning in the County. Accompanying Deputy President Gachagua were a host of prominent leaders, including Nyandarua Deputy Governor Mwangi Mathara, Kinangop MP Patrick Kwenya, Senator John Methu, and Woman MP Faith Gitau.

The event also saw the presence of Members of Parliament Jayne Kihara (Naivasha), Onesmus Ngogoyo Kajiado North, Njuguna Kiaraho (Ol-Kalou), and Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei. Additionally, key figures from the county assembly, led by Speaker Wachira Waiganjo, and Magumu Ward MCA Hussein Ndung’u, graced the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy President Gachagua commended Mutonyora Comprehensive School for its outstanding performance, emphasizing the importance of quality education in shaping the future of the nation. He pledged continued support from the government to ensure that such institutions receive the necessary resources to maintain and enhance their academic standards.

The Thanksgiving Service not only highlighted the academic achievements of Mutonyora Comprehensive School but also served as a platform for leaders to reaffirm their commitment to education and youth empowerment in Nyandarua County.
