Kirinyaga and Kiambu County Assemblies Forge Partnerships Through Benchmarking Visit

In a bid to enhance efficiency and exchange best practices, the County Assembly of Kirinyaga played host to a delegation from the County Assembly of Kiambu yesterday. Spearheaded by Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker Muteti Murimi, the visit welcomed esteemed members from Kiambu’s Finance and Economic Planning, as well as Medical Services, Public Health, and Sanitation Committees.

Deputy Speaker Hon. John Njiru led the delegation from Kiambu, illustrating a shared commitment to fostering collaboration and learning across county lines. The committees from Kiambu sought insights and strategies from their counterparts in Kirinyaga, aiming to glean from their experiences and successes.

“We are excited about this opportunity to engage with our colleagues from Kirinyaga,” remarked Deputy Speaker Hon. John Njiru. “Such engagements are crucial for promoting efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery within our respective counties.”

Among the notable attendees from Kirinyaga were Thomas Mwangi Muriuki, Dr. Isaiah Muriithi Mbogo, Mwendia Ndambiri, and Wadaudi Mca Kiine Ward. Honorable figures from Kiambu included Hon. Lucy Njeri Mwaniki, Hon. ML Muriithi Kibinga, Hon. Harrison Kariuki Bundi, Milker Thoithi, and Weche Weche.

As the two assemblies conclude their benchmarking session, they anticipate further exchanges and learning opportunities, underscoring a shared commitment to effective governance and service delivery for their constituents.
