The Chief Executive Officer of the National Land Commission CHRP Kabale Tache Arero knows the importance of giving thanks to God more so because of the enormity of His Blessings upon her life. “On Sunday,I had the honour of being part of a thanksgiving ceremony held at the AIC,Sigot LCC in Nandi County,alongside Chief of Staff & Head of Public Service Felix Koskei,OGW.Together,we gathered to celebrate the appointment of Evelyn Cheluget as the new DG of Immigration services.

With her extensive experience as a former Assistant Director within the department, Ms. Evelyn Cheluget brings a wealth of knowledge & skills to her new leadership role in the immigration sector.

Her appointment signifies a significant milestone in the efforts to strengthen migration services.I take great pride in recognizing that Cheluget’s promotion to this pivotal position underscores,H.E Dr.William Ruto’s steadfast commitment to empowering women in leadership roles.

As the first woman from our Borana community to be appointed as CEO of a public institution since independence,I stand as a living proof of H.E Dr. William Ruto’s strong belief in women’s leadership abilities,a sentiment echoed by various speakers at the ceremony.

The President’s dedication to promoting gender equality and acknowledging the indispensable contributions of women in our nation is truly admirable.

As Evelyn Cheluget embarks on her new responsibilities,I offer her my heartfelt congratulations, best wishes,& unwavering support. I have full confidence in her ability to excel in her new role & bring about positive changes within the immigration department under her leadership.
