Uasin Gishu County continues to forge ahead in its commitment to infrastructure development, marking significant progress in road enhancement projects across Kimumu Ward. In line with the county’s manifesto and Nguzo number six, these efforts aim to foster convenience and spur economic growth for residents.

Under the leadership of Governor Jonathan Bii, several key roads in Kimumu Ward have undergone substantial improvements. These include Bahati Road, Mwithirithia Road, Beliways-Kisiagi Road, Matemo-Scolastica Road, Westlands-Musungu Road, Kampi Nairobi-Probation Road, and Kampi Nairobi-Imara Daima Road. These enhancements are designed not only to improve connectivity but also to facilitate smoother transportation for commuters and goods alike.

Moreover, as part of the infrastructure overhaul, the county administration has installed 14 new culverts along critical routes such as Munyaka-Barabara ya Kwanza, California-Chebarus, Savana-Chebarus, and Action-Berlin roads. These culverts are crucial for effectively managing stormwater and ensuring the durability of the road network during adverse weather conditions.

Governor Jonathan Bii emphasized the importance of these infrastructure developments in boosting local economies and enhancing the quality of life for residents. “Our ongoing commitment to improving road networks and installing essential infrastructure reflects our dedication to sustainable growth and development in Uasin Gishu County,” Governor Bii stated.

Local residents have expressed optimism about the completed projects, noting the significant improvements in accessibility and safety. Businesses operating along these routes have also welcomed the developments, anticipating increased trade opportunities and reduced logistical challenges.

Governor Jonathan Bii affirmed the county’s continued focus on infrastructure as a catalyst for broader socio-economic advancement. With these recent achievements in Kimumu Ward, the administration remains steadfast in its mission to create an enabling environment for prosperity and progress across Uasin Gishu County.
