Kenya Hosts Zambian Parliamentary Committee on Health for Benchmarking Mission

In a demonstration of the enduring diplomatic relations between Kenya and Zambia, the Senate Standing Committee on Health played host to the Zambian Parliamentary Committee on Health, Community Development & Social Services. The esteemed delegation, led by Hon. (Dr.) Christopher Kalila, embarked on a three-day benchmarking mission aimed at fostering mutual learning and collaboration in the healthcare sector.

The interaction, which took place at the Parliamentary buildings, provided a platform for fruitful exchanges of insights and best practices between the two nations. Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago, chairing the Senate standing Committee on health, expressed gratitude for the privilege to host the Zambian delegation.

“The visit of the Zambian Parliamentary Committee underscores the strength of the longstanding diplomatic ties between Kenya and Zambia,” remarked Senator Mandago. “It’s a testament to our commitment to leveraging shared experiences and expertise for the betterment of our healthcare systems.”
