Ainabkoi MP on an Independent Party Ticket Terry Chebet Maina Calls on Residents to Vote For Her
Ainabkoi Member of parliament aspirant on an Independent party ticket Terry Chebet Maina has called on the resident to vote for her during the August polls.
She says that once elected she will ensure that residents are empowered financially once elected as MP.
Maina says this will ensure that they will produce income that will feed their family.
“My aim as your MP is to ensure that everyone is empowered financially through joining groups that will benefit from the funds from both the county and National government that will help them earn a living through starting a small business,” said Maina while speaking to the press.
“We are on the cusp of a revolution. A change in the thinking and voting patterns is beckoning. I stand before you as an agent of change. It’s time we do things differently. Better in a more focused, people-centered way. It’s time we listen to one another. The people’s voice counts. Not some of the time, but all the time,” she said.
“I am that leader who will listen, understand and address your concerns as Ainabkoi constituency residents, both home and away. Vote for me, a vote for me is a Vote for progress. Vote for integrity and inclusion. Vote for meaningful change. I can’t do it alone, l need your support, your prayers, your warm wishes, and most importantly your vote. God bless you all,” she said.
Concerning roads, she said that she will ensure that all roads which are in dilapidated condition are passable.
“Most roads in Ainabkoi are impassable especially during the rainy season yet we have funds from KERRA, under my leadership I will ensure that money is set for the same and I will be giving reports on how the money has been spent,” she added.
She said she will encourage farmers to practice value addition for them to good prices after selling their produce.
Maina says her motivation for running for the position of Member of Parliament is to give back to society by providing leadership.
“I want to give back the leadership skills and the competence I have acquired over the years to my Community at the grassroots level. I see a lot of challenges that our people face and I believe that the National Assembly is the right platform to bring in legislation and provide leadership that will benefit the electorate,” Terry said.
