Message posted on Facebook read :Scam alert: ‘Everyone be alert on this con businessman by the name Kennedy Kibet Rono, he does his unscrupulous activities in the name of recruitment agencies called arctic show international in Daima towers, he purports to be taking people outside the country and swindle your hard-earned money. He also has a history of reversing Mpesa transactions upon doing business with him. Anyone with the unfortunate experience with him or his team of novices should come out since we have different authorities hunting for them,” the Facebook post read.
“The man by the name Michael Omolo whose Facebook page name is Michael Cruz has been posting malicious information about our company which is not true. He has been arrested and was arraigned in court this morning,” he said.
He says the man is being used by his competitors to scare his customers away.
“So far we had not had any issue with our clients we have good records and they have been calling some concerns about what has been happening. We have good relations with all of them and none of the clients have reported to them, none of the clients has reported to the police station like the way the gentleman stated in his post that many authorities are looking for me as a person,” he said.
He says they have been in the business for a long and that the business is fully licensed.
“It’s not in order to go outside and post such information, when you have a problem you should come and we sort it out instead of posting it on social media, and matter of fact we urge our clients who think we are doing unscrupulous activities as the gentleman posted should go to the authorities report or come to our offices and write statements on the same,” he said.
He said the person is not known to them and they have never transacted any business with him all our clients have their records and it’s sad that the information that has been posted on social media has created fear and given the company a bad name.
“The business will go on as usual because allegations are false and malicious because we still have clients whose process is still ongoing,” he added.
