County to Enhance Service Delivery in The Health Sector
Governor Bii’s administration is committed to ensuring that residents get access to timely service delivery in the health sector.
Speaking during a meeting with the facility committee at Mois Bridge health center in Mois Bridge Ward, Health Services Executive Dr. Sam Kotut stressed the need to upgrade Mois Bridge Health Centre to a standard that can accommodate residents in the county since it has a workload of 5500 clients per month.
He noted that they are going to employ an Integrated approach in ensuring that efficient and effective services are offered to the residents.
“As a Department, we want to upgrade this facility to level four to enhance service delivery and equip it with the requirements of a sub-county hospital such as theatre, lab, ICU, HDU, x-ray, backup generator, dental equipment, dialysis among others,” says Dr. Kotut.
On his part, area MCA Hon. Patrick Kimaiyo rallied the residents to visit the facility because there are enough drugs.
“Let us create awareness among our people on the services we offer because this administration has provided us with enough drugs in the facility, says Hon Kimaiyo.
In another event, the Health Management visited Jabali dispensary to check on the staff auditing and level of service delivery where Dr. Kotut pledged to fast-track the bill of quantities to hasten the completion works of the staff quarters as they work on plans to elevate the facility to a health center to enhance 24HR services.
