County to Revive 24-Hour Services in Kapyamit Dispensary
Promotive and Preventive Health Chief Officer, Mrs Joyce Sang, has pledged the County’s commitment to upgrading all the health facilities and ensuring enough and proper placement of staff to achieve Governor Bii’s blueprint plan for improving the primary health care of the residents.
The Chief Officer, who was accompanied by Kapsaos Member of County Assembly, Isaack Samoei, during a visit to Kapyemit Dispensary noted that she is working on understaffing in the facility to ensure 24-hour operation because it is strategically placed along the highway as well as the Maili Nne estate which has a high population.
She also said that they will not relent on issuing disciplinary action against those officers who abscond from duties leaving the residents in the queues further calling on in-charges to ensure all the sections are attended to when others are on leave.
