Governor Bii’s Admistration Keen on Delivering Quality Service Delivery
The County Government of Uasin Gishu has made significant strides in enhancing the quality and timeliness of service delivery to its residents.
As part of Governor Jonathan Bii’s Nguzo Kumi blueprint, the Uasin Gishu District Hospital, along with Ziwa, Turbo, and Huruma Sub County Hospitals, have been instrumental in providing specialized services including orthopedics to the county’s population.
The services plays a vital role in treating the musculoskeletal system which includes; bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles.
The Department of health Services has undertaken initiatives to address orthopedic concerns and cater to the needs of its residents by providing quality and timely orthopedic services.
Uasin Gishu District Hospital has been at the forefront in offering comprehensive orthopedic care equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a team of skilled orthopedic specialists.
The hospital has been able to diagnose and treat various musculoskeletal conditions from fractures and joint replacements to sports injuries and spinal disorders therefore covering a wide range of orthopedic treatments.
The department has strategically placed orthopedic units in Ziwa, Turbo, and Huruma Sub County Hospitals to ensure that residents across the county have access to orthopedic services closer to their homes.
Governor Bii’s administration has effectively reduced the burden on the district hospital and improved the overall accessibility of orthopedic care.
